CQCS serves the needs of children and young adults with developmental disabilities.
At CQS we create an environment that fosters lifelong learning and the formation of friendships that last a lifetime. Each classroom employs a high ratio of staff who provide each student with support and guidance for learning and growing at their own pace. Our multidisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, and support staff work together to meet the needs of each student and allow them to reach their full potential.
CQS offers a variety of programs for Elementary, Junior and High School aged children. Key highlights specific to CQS programs include:
- Specialized curriculums
- Modified Alberta curriculum
- Music therapy
- Life skills development
- Self-regulation skills (social, emotional, behavioral)
- Technology aids and support
- Support from a multidisciplinary team of Speech Language Pathologists,
- Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapist, Behavior Therapist and Psychologist
- A low student-teacher ratio
