ÖGLB - Austrian National Association of the Deaf

The Austrian National Association of the Deaf (ÖGLB) is the representative body of the deaf community in Austria. It includes all those who prefer to communicate in Austrian Sign Language.

The ÖGLB was founded as an umbrella organization in 1913. Currently, six regional associations (Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Salzburg, Styria, Carinthia and Tyrol) as well as a deaf association from Vorarlberg are affiliated with the ÖGLB as full members.
