Pacekids Programs is a charitable organization that strives to empower children with special needs and their families through excellence in therapy and education.
Created in 1994 by a passionate group of parents who wanted to see their children thrive, Pacekids Programs has impacted the lives of thousands of children and families through an Alberta Education licensed Early Childhood Services (ECS) program and a variety of Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) funded in-home and in-community programs.
Since its creation, Pacekids has remained focused on the family unit and continuously emphasizes the importance of meeting a child and family where they are at. We serve children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Brain Injury, Speech & Language delay, etc. in the Calgary area.
We promote and support a diverse, yet unified, stakeholder team – including Pacekids team members, families, other service providers, funders and community. We work together to meet our common goals.
We promote the practice of life-long learning for all stakeholders; taking opportunities (both formal and informal) to build our individual capacity and experience.
We accept our individual and team responsibilities and we meet our commitments. We take responsibilities for our performance in all our decisions and actions.
We honour the rights and beliefs of all stakeholders. We treat others with the highest degree of dignity, equality and trust.
We employ the highest ethical standards, demonstrating honesty and fairness in every action in we take.
