Pambansang Kapisanan ng mga May Kapansanan ng Pilipinas, Inc, (PKMKPI), is a non-stock, non-profit national organization with SEC Reg No, CN202105447 of harnessed PWDs & PWRDs in ten (10) Types of Disability bonding as friends relating to big family with respect of who, what, how and where they are.
This KAPISANAN is the alliance of harnessed Persons With Disability (PWD) and Persons with Work Related Disability (PWRD) exercising maximum opportunity for the ten (10) types of disability, composed of 38 Corporate Members (initial) covering seventeen regions in the Philippines which goals are AEIOU: Awareness, Empowerment, Involvement, Cooperation and Unity of the PWD sector in the whole country.
VISION: Improved quality existence enjoying financial security, participation in governance, equal and equitable access to all aspects in society, environment and the world system not just as Filipinos but as human beings with honor and dignity.
MISSION: To uphold human rights and equality, advocate implementation of disability laws, prevent further recurrence of disability, pursue rehabilitation, achieve meaningful, productive and satisfying way of life through equitable opportunities, and become contributing members of society
OBJECTIVE: "To attain a self-sufficient, self-reliant, empowered persons with disability, advocate full implementation of PWD Laws, promote federalism and national government’s policy thrusts as catalyst for change, progress and sustainable development of the PWD sector in the Philippines"
Corporate Members: Occupationally Disabled Workers Association of the Philippines (ODWAPI), Pambansang Koalisyon ng may Kapansanan para sa Pagbabago, Federations: Regional, Provincial, City/Municipal, Barangay, Type of Disability: Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Intellectual, Learning, Mental, Physical, Psychosocial, Speech/Language/Impairment, Visual Disability , Cancer (RA 11215) and Rare Disease (RA 10747) Organizations, Associations and Groups.
