Since its foundation in 2005, the non-profit association "Service-Center ÖGS.barrierefrei" sees itself as an interface between deaf, hearing impaired and hearing people in Austria. Enabling deaf people in Austria to enjoy sustainable equal opportunities is just as important to us as ensuring barrier-free access to information and in everyday life.

The Service Center ÖGS.barrierefrei offers the following services for barrier-free information access: Video production for an accessible web, sign language courses, an online news portal in Austrian Sign Language, a telephone interpreting service.
